Pasta with Assorted Sauces (Butter Sauce, Peanut Sauce, Asian Soy Sauce)

BUTTER SAUCE

INGREDIENTS:

• 2 sticks melted butter

• Minced garlic

• Grape tomatoes

• Fresh basil

• Fresh ground pepper

• Shaved parmesan cheese

• Lemon zest

• Lemon juice

DIRECTIONS:

  • In a mixing bowl, Take some melted butter and pour that over some linguine noodles.

  • Add cracked black pepper, red pepper flakes, grate some lemon zest, squeeze some throw in some minced garlic and chopped fresh basil.

PEANUT SAUCE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice (from 1 lime)

  • 2 tablespoons tamari or soy sauce

  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar

  • 2 teaspoons honey

  • 1 teaspoon finely grated peeled fresh ginger

  • 1 clove garlic, grated

  • 1 teaspoon Asian chili-garlic paste

  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 2 teaspoons Asian sesame oil

  • Sesame seeds

  • Chile flakes (garnish)

  • Crushed peanuts (garnish)

  • Green onions (garnish)

DIRECTIONS:

In a bowl we’re going to combine:

  • 2 TB. fresh lime

  • 2 TB Liquid Aminos

  • 2 TB Rice vinegar

  • 2 teaspoons honey

  • 1 tsp red chili paste

  • Grate 1 tsp ginger

  • Wisk together 

  • Add ¼ c  peanut butter.  I like the ones that have just peanuts as it’s ingredient.

  • Add 3 TB olive oil

  • Add 2 tsp sesame oil

  • Wisk again to combine

  • You can dilute this with water to get the consistency you desire then pour over pasta and toss.

ASIAN SOY SAUCE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 Tbsp Liquid aminos

  • 2 tsp Brown sugar

  • 1 tsp Sesame oil

  • 1 tsp Sriracha

  • Minced garlic

DIRECTIONS:

  • Wisk together:

    • 2 TB soy sauce

    • 2 tsp sesame oil

    • 2 tsp brown sugar

    • 1 tsp sriracha

  • Minced garlic

  • In a saucepan and some olive oil, red bell peppers, brocolli florets.  Cook until softened.

  • Then toss in the sauce and serve
